All competitors must have a Strongman Corporation membership. Memberships are available on the Strongman Corporation website or at weigh-ins.
1: Axle Clean and Press Away
The athlete will have 60 seconds from the moment the “go” command is given to clean and press away
the axle bar. Down commands will be given when the athlete locks out. The athlete must wait for the
down command to be given before attempting the next rep. The athlete is allowed unlimited drops.
They may continue to clean and press until the 60 seconds has expired. If the athlete is mid-rep upon
time expiring, that rep does not count. Grip shirts, sleeves, belts, wraps and chalk are allowed. No
straps, no tacky. Continental clean is allowed.
Event 2: Farmers/Yoke Medley
The athlete will have 60 seconds to complete the medley. They will begin with the farmers carry and
finish with the yoke carry. Each run will be 50ft. The plates on the front ends of the farmers carry must
carried across the line for the athlete to continue on to yoke carry. Once the front arms of the yoke
crosses the line, the athlete’s time is recorded. There will be a 5 second penalty for sliding either
implement. If the athlete does not complete the entire run, their distance will be recorded with a max
time of 60 seconds. Grip shirts, sleeves and belts, wraps and chalk are allowed. No straps, no tacky.
Event 3: Wagon Wheel Deadlift
The athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible on the Wagon Wheel Deadlift.
The athlete will pull to lock out, and wait for the judges down command. The athlete cannot tap and go.
It must be a definitive stop and pull for the next rep. If the athlete is mid rep when time expires, that
rep does not count. Athlete will be allowed to use straps, however there is no figure 8 straps allowed.
Also, strapping in is done on the athlete’s time AFTER the judge has given the “go” command, not
before. Straps, wraps, sleeves, belts and chalk are allowed. No tacky. No suits.
Event 4: Sandbag Carry and Load
The athlete will have 60 seconds to complete an 80 foot walk with their designated sandbag (40ft, turn,
40ft back) and then load over 50” for women, 54” for men. If the athlete does not complete the full
run, their distance carried will be recorded with a max time of 60 seconds. If they fail to load the
implement at the end, they will be given a full run, no load score. Sleeves, wraps belts and chalk are
allowed. No tacky.
Event 5: Husafell Stone Carry (Max Distance)
The athlete will pick their carry their designated Husafell stone from an 18 inch platform and then walk
for consecutive runs of 40ft, turning when their lead foot crosses the line at either end of the run. This is
a carry until you drop event. Once the implement is dropped, the athlete’s run ends, and their distance
is recorded. Grip shirts, bracers, sleeves, belts, wraps and chalk are allowed. No tacky.
